And we're having a...

GGGIIIRRRLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just what Daddy was hoping for! And we couldn't be happier or more excited,
especially since she's perfect...
Perfect in growth, in size, in development, in every way :)
Almost to the halfway point now!!!!! 21 weeks and 3 days left :)
P.S..sorry about the pictures being pictures of pictures...lack of scanner!

Baby girl looking at us!
Showing us the goods..FINALLY!
Her little spine!
3D/4D ultrasound..Her little arm resting beside her face :)

LOVE seeing her on Monday..it was AMAZING!!!!
She's a little ahead of schedule by a few days, but they're not changing the due date :)
At 18 weeks 1 day, she weighs about 9 ounces and is 7 inches long :)
Can't wait to meet her in May!!!!!!!!!!

And Tucker is going to be an amazing big brother!!!!!!!!!!
Although he finds the ultrasound jelly to be "EWWWW!"
Little cutie!
Can't wait to see his face on Christmas..only 4 days now!!
Love both my babies :)

Sugar Cookies!!

Love this little guy sooooo much!!
Saying HI to everyone :)
Say "CHEESE!" Super fake smile :)
First time ever eating corn on the cob...Great success!!
Daddy give the best horsey rides!! Remember how Tucker refused to wear his pirate hat on Halloween? Well...now he LOVES it!!
VERY sleepy in the Swagger Wagon.

AAANNNDDD to get into the Christmas spirit, we made Christmas sugar cookies!! Tucker had the best time ever helping out!!

Baby #2 is being very active lately...and for the first time today, when I was laying down with Tucker, I could see baby kicking!!! LOVE watching my belly dance around with baby moves :) One of the best feelings EVER!! Only 4 more days until we find out if Tucker is gonna have a baby brother or a baby sister. So ready to know and call baby by his/her name instead of just baby!!
AND we found an AWESOME place and I'm 99% positive we're moving in 3-4 weeks to it!!! So as long as the application goes thru with 0 problems (which it should be perfect) we're moving in January!! Its not far from where we are now..but we fell in love..and its BIGGER!!

2011 is gonna be awesome :)

I've been slacking!!

Random catch up time..
First of all...only 12 days until we go to baby #2's gender appointment!!
Looking forward to the long ultrasound, seeing baby for the first time, listening to his/her heartbeat again and finding out if its a little Rylie Grace or a little Maddox Cooper.
sooo excited!!
December 20..HURRY UP.
I kinda have a gut feeling that baby is a girl...but I could be completely WRONG...and I'm ok with either way :)
Tucker seems excited...He'll point to my tummy and say baby and he points out every baby he sees to me....But then he'll lift up his shirt and say baby pointing to his belly button...Maybe he is confused? Either way...He's gonna get a shock in about 4 1/2-5 months when he has to share HIS mommom..But he'll be a GREAT big brother when the time comes. Maybe a little too loving??
This is 16 weeks (4 months)..we'll find out the sex at 18 weeks 1 day!!
As you can tell..Tucker LOVED decorating the Christmas tree!! (However..his mama's patience is wearing thin if the tree gets knocked over one more time..)
Waiting on the parade in Jamestown to start was..BORING. So Tucker took a nap to pass the time by quicker :)
Ridonk (thanks Katy..I can't quit using that word now) snowstorm that caught me by surprise...and we STILL have some of it lingering...that better not mean more anytime soon!! Although that would be the ONLY perk of this crummy teens weather with tens windchill we've been having...Urg..Moving here was supposed to mean LESS snow :)
Doesn't this prove that Daddy picks bad movies?? If Tucker falls ASLEEP during them at 11 in the morning!?

Last time we went to Gramma's house..she treated Tucker (mama tagged along too) to The Children's Museum for the first time. We are DEFINITELY going again!! It was awesome!!
My little GOOFBALL pretending to drink some milk in the play food area.
Working out on the treadmill...(we went the day after Thanksgiving..he had to work all those pounds off!!)
 Rice table=AWESOME. Enough said.
My boy LOVES to brush his own teeth, have them brushed and help me brush my teeth...So OF COURSE he loved brushing this monster's pretty teeth!

Such a CUTIE!!
Alright, alright, I know its supposed to be PRETEND food and you're only supposed to PRETEND eat it..but who can't resist to taste a plastic lemon for real?
That's right...Mr. Clean was CLEANING off the chalkboard instead of writing on it..
Tucker and his #1 girlfriend..Don't they make an adorable couple!?
Yeah we think so too..:)
They even play very well together and share!! (most of the time)

Next up:
ULTRASOUND
CHRISTMAS
NEW YEARS
TUCKER'S SECOND BIRTHDAY (Already!?? Geez! Where did the time go!?)

Love my little family :)

BBBAAABBBYYY Q&A!

When did you find out you were pregnant?
We found out on September 12, 2010 at like 6 in the morning.

Is this your first, second, etc, child?
This will be Zeke and I's second child!!!!! We're so excited! They will be 2 years and 4 months apart.

Was this a surprise or were you planning?
This baby and Tucker were both planned! We started trying in the middle of July and got pregnant the beginning of August!!

How did you tell your partner?
We were talking about when to take a test on Friday..we agreed that I would take one on Sunday morning..first thing. I peed on the stick... I didn't want to get my hopes up so I kept telling myself that it was going to be negative. I was INCREDIBLY THRILLED when I look a minute later and it already said PREGNANT! Even though it was Zeke's morning to sleep in, I ran in to show him. He was so excited that he couldn't even go back to sleep!

How did you tell your friends and family?
My parents knew before we even did!! My dad has this weird pregnancy sense..He knew before we did that I was pregnant with Tucker too! We were going to tell them in person the weekend after we found out but on Monday..they called and asked "So is there another little one on the way!?" As for the rest of the family and friends..our friend Katy bought Tucker a shirt that said "I'm going to be the big brother!!" We dressed him in it on Thanksgiving and let everyone read his shirt. Everyone seemed thrilled with the news!

Are the Grandparents excited?
Gramma and Grampa Kehoe definitely are!! Gramma Kehoe is already talking about things to buy and all that! The others opt not to be a big part of our lives so their excitement was pretty limited..

Was there anyone that wasn’t excited?
My in-laws didn't seem to thrilled, which we expected. And my grandmother said I was stupid to get knocked up agian..but we expected that too..she is crazy!! haha

What is your due date?
Baby is due on May 22, 2011!!

How far along are you now?
November 30, 2010, I am 15 weeks 3 days today.
Are you having a boy or girl?
We have no idea yet!! We honestly don't care as long as the baby is healthy!! A boy would be easier since I saved EVERYTHING from Tucker, but having one of each would definitely be a blessing!!

Will they be multiples in this pregnancy?
Not that we know of!!

Do you have any nick names for the little one as of now?
We just call it #2 until we find out the sex. We already have names picked out :)

Have you had any sickness or complications since you have been pregnant?
No complications thank God!! Morning sickness...oh man, yes! This pregnancy has been much harder than Tucker's!! Morning sickness pretty badly and MAJOR fatigue as well. But since I just entered the second trimester, I'm hoping it will soon ease up!!

How much Caffeine do you consume?
NONE! I drank NONE with Tucker and when we started trying for #2, I quit drinking it cold turkey again! I have never liked soda so that was never an issue. I LOVE my coffee though and I like my sweet tea as well!! It has not been an issue at all tho! I LOVE LOVE LOVE water!

Are you a smoker?
NO!! I never will be either. I refuse to let my children be exposed to second hand smoke as well..and that includes while I'm pregnant!!

Do you still drink?
No!! I have never really liked drinking so I have no problem not drinking!!

How often do you exercise?
If you are talking about going to the gym or doing an actual workout..never. But I do have an almost 2 year old son..so I think I get plenty of excerise!! He keeps me busy chasing him! Plus we go on a walk almost daily, go to the park a TON and I get plenty of weight lifting just carrying him and picking him up :)

Have any cravings since you have been pregnant?
Not really. With Tucker I HAD to have a few snickers bars a day. This time, chocolate makes me sick!! And I like that!! As for cravings..no, not really. I have seen someone eating chinese and want some too but not like other women that just sit there and drool over gross things :)

Have you experienced a lot or weird dreams?
Yes. I'll leave it at that haha

How are your boobs?
SORE! They are finally starting to stop being sore! BIGGER!! Ask the hubby..he will tell you..ha!

Are you showing yet?
I've got the pooch!! But just to be honest..unless you know me, you might just mistake that preggo pooch for a little bit of leftover baby weight from Tucker hahaha

Gained any weight?
Only 3 pounds so far!! I am eating VERY healthy and get plenty of excerise with a little one around too. With Tucker, I gained 69 pounds..that is NOT happening this time! I will however..gain as much weight as needed for a healthy baaaabbby!

Is the baby kicking yet?
I'm pretty positive that I've felt a few kicks/squirms!! But not consistantly or big kicks yet.

How is your sex life since you have become pregnant?
Mom, quit reading now! haha. umm What sex life is a better question? :)

Do you want a boy or a girl?
I answered this once already I think..but we don't care as long as its healthy!! Having a little girl (one of each) would be amazing!! We would definitely love that! But another little boy would be just as amazing and a whole different experience. We're just thrilled that he/she is healthy and doing well at this point! However, we will find out ASAP!!

Do you plan on circumcision if you have a boy?
We had our first son circumsized and will again if this one is a boy!! I can understand for some people its a cultural thing, but its just a health issue to us..and we want our boy(s) to be healthy always :)

Do you plan on Breastfeeding or bottle feeding?
Definitely breastfeeding!! I tried it with Tucker and didn't have the support/knowledge that I needed. I feel confident this time and much more prepared. Plus this doctors office fully supports it and has a 24/7 on call lactation consultant. Definitely going to breastfeed this one!! However, Tucker has bottle fed after a week and he is perfect. I have nothing against bottle babies!! Don't lecture me on the benefits of breastfeeding over formula! :)

Do you plan on using Regular diapers or cloth diapers?
Definitely regular disposable diapers!! I am all for saving money and being green..but I am NOT willing to deal with more poop than I have to! I'm not about to handle poop and wash it!! We are definitely a disposable diaper family!! However, I definitely understand the reason behind cloth diapering and support those who do it. I can NOT stand those mothers that judge me for it. Disposables are 100% just as safe and effective as cloth..so don't even try to give me a lecture on it :)

As of now what is your birth plan? C-section? All Natural? Vaginal with epidural? At home? Other?
ALLLLLLL NATURAL!!! I had Tucker ALL NATURAL..no pain meds, no help, just natural. But I do understand that things don't always go according to plan...so I am keeping an open mind. I do NOT ever want a c-section, but if it came down to that..I would do it. I'm not opposed to pain meds..if I need them, I WILL get them. But if it is at all possible, I want this birth to be 100% all natural!!

Have you visited your OB/GYN or Midwife yet? How do you feel about the doctor or Midwife?
We have gone three times now. The practice we picked (after a ton of research and questioning..) has 5 midwives and 5 OBs. Unless complications arise (pray that none do!), we are seeing midwives instead of OBs. I loved my OB with Tucker and have NO complaints there but I like the idea behind a midwife much better!! Plus this office supports no inducement (unless necessary!), as natural as possible and breastfeeding. Wait, I think the next question goes more into why we picked them...Find out the sex December 20 when we go next!!!!!!

What are the requirements you want/wanted from your doctor?
Answer my concerns and to be there if I have a problem! Plus be available 24/7 in case of emergency. We also picked them because they support no inducing (unless necessary), natural laboring (birthing balls, limited monitoring, movement, lamaze, music, baths, etc..), breastfeeding and natural birth (no pain meds, etc). Plus they deliver at the Women's Hospital of Greensboro which is AWESOME! They have HIGH recommendations and great reviews!

Do you know what hospital you will give birth at?
Yes, I will be giving birth at The Women's Hospital of Greensboro. We had such an amazing experience at Park Ridge Hospital with Tucker that we really looked into where we wanted to deliver and how this time.

Who is going to be in the delivery room?
Only Zeke!! Unless no one can make it here in time, then it will be Zeke and Tucker :)

Do you have any names picked out as of now?
YES! We are set in stone on them too.. If it is a girl, her name will be Rylie Grace. If its a boy, his name will be Maddox Cooper!

What do you plan on doing with the nursery?
The kids are going to share a room! At least for a year or two. The baby will be in our room for the first 6 or so months anyway.

Things you have bought the baby.
We haven't bought anything yet. Thanks to Dora and Dave, we are having a crib and high chair given to us!! (They are amazing!) We are planning on using all of Tucker's stuff. Like the bouncer, the walker, etc.. The only things we'll need to buy are 2-3 big things, some little stuff and if its a girl, clothes. Many thanks to my wonderful parents..they have bought SO MUCH STUFF for Tucker!!!!!!!

Is there anything you fear about carrying or delivering the baby?
Well there are always fears!! Nothing too out of the ordinary though!! We have been through a miscarraige before so in the beginning that was on our minds a lot. But now we're safely into the second trimester and baby is doing well! While we will never forget that, its no longer a major threat! As far as everything else goes..there is always the possibilty that something can go wrong, so the fear never leaves. And for delivery..I really want to have another all natural labor and delivery. I am terrified of a c-section and all that. All natural, please! We just continue to pray about it!

Your biggest problems since you have been pregnant?
Fatigue. Its starting to die down some tho, so I can't really complain!!

How are your mood swings?
Honestly, I don't think I have had many at all. Zeke might not agree with that, but there have been no fights or anything, so I think I'm good in the mood swing category!

After the baby is born do you plan on going back to work? If so, how long is your maternity leave?
I am a full time stay at home mommy already, so yes..I will be back at work full time!! And I LOVE my job :) (and my hubby for making it possible!!)

Are you reading any pregnancy/ baby books?
I have the "What to Expect When You're Expecting" book..but honestly, I read more online than I do in pregnancy books. I have several sites that I really like and I like being able to quickly google any question that I have!

Do you believe in the saying “Eating for two”?
No..I do eat more than normal. I am hungry more than normal. But that doesn't mean I need to eat 2 or 3 cheeseburgers instead of just one...I just eat a little bit more often and its all good!

We can't wait until May!! We're so excited!!!

Teeeths!

Tucker is an excellent listener! All I have to do is say "Tucker go brush your teeth" and he runs to the bath room screaming TEEETHS! TEEETHS!! We get down his toothbrush and he opens the top drawer and picks what kind of toothpaste he wants, wets the brush then he stands still while we brush his teeth. Then he spits. Then he gets a turn to brush his own teeth. When he is done, he'll hand us the brush to rinse. Then he pulls himself all the way up to rinse out his mouth...its adorable...

Plus, an apple a day keeps those teeth nice, right!?
Don't you ever have a wild hair day!?
We made thumb pigs today!
A little playtime balancing act before bedtime is also awesome!
See those pearly whites!? See how happy having candy clean teeth makes him!?!?

A bit of random catching up..

First off, sorry some of the pictures are sideways..I must be technology illiterate because I can't figure how to make them flip on here!
These are just some random photos of the last couple of weeks. I promise after Thanksgiving vacation, I will update better!!
Tucker and daddy building the track together.
And playing together. They're so sweet together :)
This is why Zeke was out of work for 2 weeks...You can't really tell in the pictures, but it makes a "z" shape cut and is about 7 inches all together. This was about a week after. Now since the stiches are out and its feeling much better, (a plastic surgeon/hand arm specialist did the surgery) you can barely see the scar in pictures!!
My little pirate!! He would not let go of either of us the entire night! He was terrified of all the dressed up people and wanted either Mommy or Daddy to hold him ALWAYS. And despite the fact he wouldn't wear his pirate hat, he was the cutest pirate ever!!
This is how my little man sleeps. It is adorable and just like his Grampa Kehoe. So sweet!!
 Playground playing :)
 Stick mama stick!!
And Gramma Kehoe introduced candy necklaces to Tucker...
And oh boy, were they a HUGE hit!! He LOVES them now!!

More updates (and better ones) to come soon!!!!!!!! (after Thanksgiving probably!)
:-)

Happy Halloween!

While the situation SUCKS...we've enjoyed having Dada spend extra time with us this week!
We did some awesome leaf print colorings to get into the fall mood! And because we're all missing the beautiful parkway leave change and Hendo..
We went Trick-or-Treating last night and we're going again tonight..I promise to get better pictures tonight! But Tucker is a "FEROCIOUS" PIRATE!!!!! He's just so dang cute and happy...that he isn't even scary! Although he does one heck of a "RRRRRRRRRRawRRRRRRRRR!"

The little goober is just so darn funny lately! I was talking to Zeke today while we were driving home from the Bicentennial Gardens and used the phrase "bad boy!"
I turned around just in time to see and hear Tucker say crossly while pointing is finger at Zeke, "BAD BOY! Bad Boy Dada!"

That little boy always puts a smile on my face. LOVE him..

Copycat!

Tucker is starting to repeat EVERYTHING we say!! While it is so adorable and pretty awesome to see him learn and try out a new word..we REALLY have to start watching what we say!

We were out driving this afternoon and saw a man sitting on the side of the road. Zeke made a "hobo" comment. From the backseat, we heard "HOBO! hobo HOBO hobo HoBo!!"

When Zeke does something that shocks me or when I need to get his attention or something, I always say, "Zeke!..." Lately, whenever Tucker sees Zeke or wants Zeke's attention. he does his little "Dada! Daddy! Dada dada dada dada!!" dance and jumps around. But I can always tell when Tucker has had enough because I hear a little tiny voice snap, "Zeeeke!"

While at the hospital with Zeke on Friday, I was trying to explain to Tucker that daddy was hurt and he needed to be easy with daddy's arm. I stated "Daddy has a booboo." "Booboo boo boo booboo!"

He is also entering his "NO!" and his "Yeah!" stage...its adorable.

"Uh-oh" is also a new favorite as is repeating every sound we make. "Shhh!" "Psst!" "Hey!"

Not to mention after seeing daddy peepee and having a talk about it with mommy and daddy...he proudly announced his own "peepee" and proceeded to "go peepee!! peepeeee!" in the bathtub.

Tucker adds new words to his list every day. I love it!
I think he can say over 50 words now and knows the meaning of hundreds more!
So proud of that little munchkin!

I've come to the conclusion...

..my boy likes ANYTHING with an engine. Trucks, cars, jeeps, four wheelers, mules, EVERYTHING..but especially...

TRACTORS and TRAINS!

Daddy went to VIR last weekend and since it was cold out and he was camping out, Tucker and I didn't go...So we went to Hendo for the night! Tucker was in HEAVEN...
Tractor ride with Grampa and Gramma Kehoe
Gramma and Uncle Myles
Helping Uncle Myles drive
 Teaching Uncle Myles to drive
Uncle Myles showing Tucker how to use a chisel
Like a pro!
So sweet :)

This weekend, Tucker was determined not to let his daddy out of his sight! That even meant getting up at 5:15 every morning, just to be sure! Saturday, we took Tucker to the NC Transportation Museum. Tucker LOVED it!!!!!!!
The train was pretty old..everytime Zeke hit the seat, a cloud of dust flew out. Tucker thought it was the funniest thing ever!
 First train ride!
He was so thrilled!
My boys!
Tucker was thrilled with the train ride and all the trains and trucks we got to see!
 Love holding my boy!
Tucker even got his own window seat..and boy did he love looking out!!
Tucker was seriously overly excited during this part. They had 2 giant buildings crammed full of old cars, trucks and planes. The first room in the first building was full of tiny model fire trucks..from the first ever firetruck to the modern ones. Tucker had one of his MANY firetrucks in his hand. He LOVED this. We also got to see real big firetrucks, old and new.
Not only did Tucker get a train ride, we walked through the roundhouse...he got to climb on trains...
..and pretend to drive one!!
 He had an amazing day!!
A tiny shot of a little bit of the roundhouse.

Tucker definitely is 110% allllll boy!
(just wait till he sees the trains, planes and trucks Santa will bring!!)
