Three wonderful years later..

My baby boy is THREE. Where did the time go!? Hard to believe how far we have made it in these last three years..and how much Tucker has grown in every way! 7 pounds 14 ounces 22 3/4 inches up to a whopping 31.5 pounds and 40.5 inches. The boy is still tall and skinny..and I love every inch of him.
He's got his mama's toes, his legs have the classic "rough child" shin bruises constantly, usually with a matching skinned knee, his mama's nonexistent butt (which makes holding those jeans up difficult!), the most perfect bellybutton (his sister's matches almost exactly), cute little shoulders (of course..if you ask him, they're big..he's got some major guns those shoulders have to holdup!), the sweetest little smile (complete with a chipped tooth), some gorgeous blue eyes and some brilliantly blond hair.
Tucker's the most perfect and beautiful little boy I could have ever asked for.
Not to mention, the mouth on this child..while it gets him in trouble from time to time, he keeps us rolling with laughter. He's an absolute hoot!

A few of my favorite pictures from his birthday party..

 Charlotte pushing Tuck
 Singing Happy Birthday to him
He got embarrassed but LOVED being the center of attention too.
 Cake!
Ry got her first taste of cake too :)

Tucker, we love you more than words can say. You are such a joy to our lives. You fill my days with laughter. No one makes Rylie light up and laugh as much as you do. You are the best big brother in the world and she looks up to you in every way. We're so proud of your accomplishments so far and know that you will go far in life. I couldn't ask for a better son and am proud to be your mama. I love you so much.

A Bit Random

A bit random..

-EVERYONE is pregnant. A bit jealous but this mommy is content with her two and is done having babies :-).
-One of my 3 New Year's "goals" is to try to stop judging people so much. I usually do it silently but I hate feeling judged by others and want to stop doing it towards others as well.
-That being said..I am tired of selfish people. That's never going to change..if you have a kid grow up and take care of it. If you have a kid and can't afford it, take precautions to not have another. Its selfish. Stay at home with your kid/kids some weekends and nights. I understand needing a break and going out without the kids but EVERY week or more often, seriously?? I can't help judging that..kids can't defend themselves and need people to stand up for them more. Its sad.
-Rylie's personality is REALLY starting to show now. More and more every day it seems. And with that little presonality, the girl has a big attitude!! She is definitely a girly girl and high maintenance to match. A little ball of fire. While I am sure that its going to cause some issues in the future, its pretty adorable right now.
-Tucker is going to be THREE in 2 days. Where has all the time gone!?? He has grown so much in so many different ways. So proud of the little boy he is now.
-I am truely blessed with these two kids.

STOP TAKING PICTURES MOM! I'm gonna beat your butt! hahaha
Alligator teeth! Love this kiddo.
Ok number 2 of my New Year's goals..Eat healthier. I know that I won't exercise and refuse to even say that I plan to because I know that's a lie. So eat healthier. Me and the kids. The hubby should too but that's his choice.
She is such a goof!
Learning Wall. He can count to ten and counts things to ten (haven't tried higher but I'm sure he can.)
He knows ALL his shapes.
He can't say his ABC's without help but he knows how to spell his name, T is for Tucker, B is for Bapa, P is for Papa, M is for Mommy, D is for Daddy, Z is for Zeke and R is for Rylie.
Plus he knows all his colors.
Tuck's new obsession..PLAY DOH!!!
She gets mad or frustrated at me and wrinkles her little face all up and GROWLS at me. I need to capture this on video.

-We need more playdates and more Hands On Museum time.
-I need the stress of Zeke's arm problems over. So hopefully we get some answers super soon and can move on from there.
-We LOVE going to the library. I think Tucker could read and work puzzles there constantly if I let him.
-My boy is spending his second night away home tonight..at Bapa's. He's so excited.

SOOO much good things going on in our lives right now. I have to remind myself sometimes, but I really am lucky and blessed!!

8 months!??

I am SHOCKED that 8 months have already passed since my beautiful little girl was born (even more shocked that almost 3 years has passed since Tuck's birth, but that's a story for next week when he turns 3..) Hard to believe that my little 6 lb 12 oz baby is now 15 lb 9 oz crusing bundle of joy already. Happy 8 months Rylie!

So what has the last 8 months brought us?

-The world's most beautiful little girl.
-Not a single good night's sleep for Mommy :)
-A lot of giggles.
-Special bonding between Ry and her big brother.
-Lots and lots of tears (mostly Rylie's, but some from mommy too)
-A lot of co-sleeping with mommy (something I was opposed to before)
-Self-feeding.
-7 different kinds of formula.
-A learning curve of how to balance a thickened milk.
-An intense love.
-The world's biggest gummy grins.
-Two teeth.
-A TON of throw up.
-Finally into size 2 diapers.
-The world's cutest little girl clothes.
-Sippy cups instead of bottles.
-Crawling.
-Cruising the furniture.
-Climbing onto the coffee table.
-A special mommy daughter bond.
-The world's proudest and most loving and gentle big brother.
-A smile and a giggle every time Tucker looks at her.
-Special blankies.
-New diets.
-A TON of pink.
-A billion compliments on her eyes and her smile.
-Pierced ears.

What's Rylie's favorites at 8 months?

-Diced pears.
-Pear juice.
-Her milk (formula.)
-Her pink blankie.
-Hotwheels/Matchbox cars.
-Cookies.
-Cheese doodles.
-Trying to walk.
-Blueberries.
-Fried rice.
-Corn.
-Her brother.
-Books.
-Her pink pig piggybank.
-Puffs.
-Carrots.
-Sweet Potatoes.
-Lucy.
-Chewing on everything.

And at 8 months 1 day..RyBug has taken her first steps 100% on her own!! And is more determined than ever to walk all by herself rather than crawl anymore.

The girl is an absolute ball of fire. A 100% high maintenance girly-girl. But I couldn't imagine it any other way.

Ry, you are a ball of fire..the most beautiful and precious little girl..Every new stage you reach is wonderful and amazing. I couldn't ask for two more wonderful children. I love seeing the world through your eyes. I love seeing your delight in learning new things and trying new things. I love seeing you smile and your giggle is infectious. You might not be as laid back as your brother, but I can't imagine it any other way. You are truly a blessing and I love you more than words can say. Happy 8 months baby girl.
