I definitely post a lot more pictures than I do words and/or stories...but pictures speak a thousand words..
April has been super busy for us..in a good way! The kids are growing up SO fast. I'm so so thankful that my kids are HEALTHY but man, time sure does fly by! It's so hard to believe that Rylie will be ONE in just two short weeks! It seems like just last week that we were still living in Greensboro, waiting on Rylie to make her appearance. So much has changed since this time last year..mostly for the good!!
LIFE IS GOOD!
And we are extremely blessed!
These pictures are a bit out of order and taken with a couple different cameras/phones, so bear with me.
We walked to the park last night. Playground, caught a few minutes of a teeball game, walked along the creek, played, etc.. By the time we left, it was 7 and Rylie's bedtime, so Mommy got a bunch of really good snuggling time on the walk back home!
Tucker spent the night with my parents one night last week. He had a wonderful time. He got to drive Papa's tractor and steer all by himself. Look at that concentration!!
We did a little egg hunt on Easter with Ava and Melissa. Tucker is head over heels in love with little Ava!
This little girl is fearless! She LOVES the slide..the bigger the slide, the more she squeals in delight. Put her at the top and you better race to the bottom! She flings herself down with the biggest grins!!
My mom and I took the kids to a sheep farm last week. A friend of mom's raises sheep and sells their wool. The kids loved the little lambs.
Uncle Bud playing with Tucker. He's like a three year old in a 19 year old's body! Picking and playing away! He didn't get his way with Tucker and the car, so he just picked them up and moved them!
Rylie thought it was absolutely hilarious when Tucker sat on her lap to ride in the car. The laughter didn't last long before she wanted him off and for her to get out, but it was adorable.
Uncle Bud picking on Tucker some more. The delighted squeals and ear-to-ear smiles on both of them say it all :)
Tucker and I got hit with a mini-craft bug last week and created these little thumb print animals.
Bubbles in his Easter basket!
Another glimpse at the egg hunt!
The boy is in love with his trucks. All he wanted from the Easter Bunny was some trucks!
Swinging at the park!
Rylie loves her food...
We went to WNC Nature Center weekend before last. Tucker fell in love with every animal we looked at.
A few weeks ago Tucker was having AWFUL nightmares about "HUGE white bears standing on their back legs roaring and growling at Bapa's house" and the only way we could finally calm him down was to tell him that Uncle Bud (the hunting redneck:)) caught them in big cages and took them to the zoo far away from our houses where we and the bears were safe! So while at the Nature Center, we saw two large black bears. Tucker got so excited and happy, yelling that those are the bears Bud caught! He was so happy to see that the bears are in big cages and can't get out anymore!
Rylie's first big fourwheeler ride. She wanted to go faster and faster..she is a wild child for sure!
Granny (Tucker and Rylie's great grandma) came to spend Easter with us. She is so in love with these kids!
Rylie tearing into her Easter basket!
Papa got a new lawn mower. Rylie wanted a ride and when I put her on his lap, she got so relaxed and just melted on him :-)
Snuggles for Mommy!
Bud giving Rylie a little ride. Babies scare him! lol
Tucker and Daddy riding the four wheeler on Easter.
Rylie found one Easter egg during the hunt and was content to stop hunting and just play with it!
So far, April has been a great month!
