Ribbit! Ribbit!!

My little FROG baby :)

"RIBBIT!"-ing the dog
I can't believe he put it on! LOVE it!
 Attacking A!
Lucy looks scared of him :)
 RIBBIT!!
 He's so sweet :)
 Even frogs like milk :)

Trying to give Lucy a frog hug

He LOVES this blanket :)

She's getting too big..

My little 6 pound 12 ounce 20 inch baby girl is getting too big too fast...
At 20 weeks (4 1/2 months) she is a 13 pound 2 ounce 23.5 inch big girl..

She is growing so fast!! I think when you have your first child it hits you how fast life flies by. Then you have #2...and life flies even faster. I can't believe that she is already 1.5 weeks away from 5 months old.

Playing with toys
Happy girl!
 Loves her walker!
Rasberries!! (Although..he does find them funnier than she does :))
Cuddling her favorite bear (Tucker made it for her when we found out we were having a girl)
 TOES!!
 LOVES that bear!
Trying so hard to sit!! (Tucker in the background prepared to catch her)
Playing with toys on her tummy..tummy time by her choice now!!
 LOVE my big girl
 Drool baby
 Typical Rylie :)
 Sound asleep..wore herself out playing
 She LOVES to sit up!

Any day now..she is going to be sitting all on her own.
Bittersweet moments.
LOVE seeing her delight over accomplishing little things..
She now eats rice, oatmeal, barley, apples, pears, sweet potatoes, squash, rice rusks, bitter biscuits and she will be trying green beans tomorrow! Plus she loves to drink a little bit of watered down apple juice!

My precious baby is getting big so fast!

Rude Rant

This is going to be a rude post. If you don't like it..don't read it.

I am SO SICK of RUDE people.
and dumb people.

I recently semi-vented to a friend with a child around the same age as one of mine. Guess what...she has never had anyone make any kind of rude comment to her about her child! What the heck??

-First things first...the MIL. I won't even go into this one. Just saying.

-I know that MY DAUGHTER is NOT a BABY DOLL. Just because her ears are pierced, I occasionally paint her toe nails and sometimes I dress her in dresses and other adorable outfits...does NOT mean that I think she is a baby doll. It is incredibly rude and insulting for someone to ask me if I know that she is a human and not a baby doll. WTH. I occasionally paint her toe nails and dress in her adorable clothes because she is a GIRL. That's what GIRLS do. And yes her ears are pierced. Get over it. It's my kid..not yours.

-Both my kids are formula fed babies. Rylie is lactose intolerant and has a milk protein allergy that she should outgrow before she turns one. She would have this EITHER WAY. One of my closest friend's daughter was breastfed and guess what..SAME allergies! So keep you opinions to YOURSELF. Yeah, breastmilk is wonderful and cheap. Both my kids are incredibly healthy. In fact, they are both healthier than a lot of my friends children. Tucker just had his very first non-teething related fever. So keep your ignorant opinions of how horrible bottle feeding moms are and shove it.

-I probably already posted about this..but I STILL get the question every now and again. When I dress Rylie is clothes that are gender neutral, I never get questioned. They always comment on what a beautiful little girl she is. When I put dresses on her or full pink/purple outfits (sometimes including bows) I always get the boy or girl question. Are people really that stupid?    No ma'am, this baby is a boy. 'Then why is he wearing a purple dress and a bow?' I am trying to turn him gay.   Seriously lady?? The baby is dressed in pink or purple or a DRESS because its a FEMALE.

-I recently went to the doctor. She asked me if I was on birth control. "Yes ma'am." Good. How old are your children? "I have a 2 1/2 year old boy and a 4 month old girl." Well thank God you are at least trying to prevent that problem now.  UM EXCUSE ME!?? WTH. I do NOT think my children are problems. In fact, neither one were even accidents. And if I want another one, your jerk opinion won't be stopping me.

-I love the looks I get from the older ladies that think I am only like 16. And the age questions. Then the "no way she has to be lying" look I get after saying 22. Then they way they stomp off after being "lied" to.

-I love the judgemental questions I get from people..that then try to play it off like they didn't mean it in a negative way. Totally obvious they did.

People are really getting to me lately. Idk if I am getting more sensitive or if people are just a lot more rude lately. Either way..makes me even less of a people person. And it makes me start to snap back rude things at rude people. And if you know me...that is totally not who I am.

AMAZING!

It absolutely blows my mind how
AMAZING
and sweet my babies can be.
I am beyond blessed to have them both.

Tucker will sit beside Rylie's rocker/bouncer chair, gently rocking it saying "Shhh. It ok baby Rylie. What's wrong baby? It be ok, I right here. See me? It ok. Shhhh."

My sweet little boy never gets frustrated with her, even when she has been screaming for several hours (which is getting rarer all the time!!)

When Tucker is looking for things, he always says "Where are you?" For example, today we went to the Dollar Tree. I told him I was taking him to the potty and started looking for it. Tucker starts singing 'Potty, where are you!?" He often "misplaces" things at home. I often hear "Tractor, where are you? Truck, where are you!? Blankie, where are you!?" It is always followed by "Oh Mommy! Its right there!"

Tucker has heard us tell the dog to shut up a bazillion times. He has only ever said it in the correct situation and to our dog and one of my parent's dogs...until yesterday. We met Daddy for lunch at Wendy's yesterday. Half way thru the meal I took Tucker to the potty. I got him all settled in and told him to go peepee. He looked up at me and said "Shut up Mommy." I promptly popped his bottom, told him why it was wrong and sat him back on the potty. He cried for a bit then said "I sorry Mommy." We get back to the table and Tucker says, "Daddy I say bad word and get hurt. Mommy spanks! SPANK!" When he yelled spank, he clapped his hands. I laughed sooo hard. But guess what! He hasn't said it to even the dog since!!

Every morning when Zeke goes to leave, Tucker fights him at the door. He stands up against it and doesn't let Zeke out. He almost always cries a few tears when Zeke finally makes it out the door. Then he sobers up, looks at me and says "Daddy go back work and fix cars."

Tucker calls his daddy "ZEKE!" when he wants something and daddy the rest of the time.

Tucker will gently hold my face between his hands and say "Mommy look at me...." You can tell I do it to him when I need him to listen to me lol.

Rylie has the most precious little smile. She can melt your heart in a second.

Whenever Rylie fusses in the car or grocery store, Tucker will say "Mommy, baby Rylie whines. WAH WAH!"

The bond between Tucker and Rylie never ceases to amaze me. Even when he won't share his trucks with me or his daddy, he will always let Rylie have a turn holding them.

Rylie will sit and pet the dog for as long as you let her. She never pulls Lucy's ears or fur. She is so gentle.

Whenever I feed Rylie, she holds her bottle. When she is done holding her bottle, she gently plays with my face.

Rylie gives the sweetest little kisses...with her mouth WIDE OPEN.

I wish I would of taken the time to write down all Tucker's little sayings like my mom told me I should of. He says some of the sweetest and cutest little things. From now on..I plan on recording both the kid's lives better :) Tucker can always make me laugh and looking at both of them always makes me so happy and so proud.

I am beyond blessed.
