Another Hendo Weekend and a Playdate!

So last weekend, we had another amazing weekend in Hendo. We were able to spend a bunch of time with Gramma and Grampa Kehoe, Uncle Myles and some friends! It was great to see an old friend and meet her new boy. And of course, Tucker got SOOO spoiled. After he was able to spend the WHOLE DAY playing, getting tractor and fourwheeler rides and lots of fun in the "man caves" he tricked (much to mommy's evil glares and outbursts of NO) everyone into giving him just potato chips for dinner...which he enjoyed immensely. We all had fun and I'm glad Ryan got to (finally) go with us :) We ended the Hendo weekend with a quick lunch with Tucker's Grandma Susie.

Monday, I watched a friend's little girl for him. Tucker LOVED having a playdate with Alexa!!

Can't wait for this weekend :)

Oh Daddy Zeke...

Before bedtime Zeke and Tucker were playing together. They are always horsing around and being..well boys together. Tucker loves it and thinks its hilarious when Zeke lays on his back and picks Tucker up above his head. Like this:
This nearly always results in Tucker laughing so hard that he just flops over and down to the floor in fits of giggles. Tonight..after playing for a good hour, they decided to do this...of course resulting in Tucker falling and them both cackling with laughter like crazy.

After Zeke and I each read Tucker a book and laid him down for the night, we watched a movie together. The guys in it were giving another guy a pep talk about being a good day when his daughter is born...I asked Zeke if he worried about Tucker and being his daddy the same way these guys did and he said yes, always.

me "Awe hunny, but you've turned into such a great daddy"
zeke "I dropped the boy on his face today. I mean he was laughing and stuff so it was alright but still..I mean our acrobatic acts need work."

I about died laughing!!

Greensboro Natural Science Center

Ok first of all, I could kick myself for not taking more pictures today...it was very hard to take pictures inside because the glass made everything all crazy...but if you want to see all the pictures I actually did get today, they're on my Facebook.

This tiger was sooo close! We could of leaned over and touched that fence! Of course we didn't but he was right there!! He really seemed to like Tucker!
I wanted to punch this kangaroo man at the center in the face. He was all dressed up as this giant kangaroo and bouncing all over the place. First of all, he made Tucker cry. Then he was taunting the poor tiger!! He kept running at the fence and at the glass windows and driving that poor kitty crazy! It was soooo mean!
We quickly moved from this spot..
Giant anteater!! They had him in the same pen as the wolves..and he was actually eating ants!!
Tucker was beyong fascinated and thrilled with these birds. They were so talkative and colorful!
I thought this was by far the coolest exhibit they had. Whenever the wallabies came close enough, you could actually touch them!!
It was awesome!
Tucker really enjoyed the petting zoo as well!
He LOVED this goat!
He definitely wasn't scared of anything in this tank!! Everything the man picked up to show him, Tucker immediatly touched it and tried to steal from him! He LOVED it!
It was funny because they had several different snake exhibits, some with GIANT andacondas, pythons and poisinous snakes, like rattlers. He would stand with his face as close to the snake as he could possibly get and still wanted closer! However, when we got to the "Snaketastic!" part, he was TERRIFIED and refused to touch or even get close to the snakes they had out. It was pretty adorable.

We will DEFINITELY be returning to the Greensboro Natural Science Center. It was amazing and Tucker loved it!! I love seeing his face when he becomes excited over even the smallest of things!! :)

I figure..

I should finish up my post about last weekend before this weekend officially begins..

Sunday was a pretty relaxing day. We took Tucker to the Bog Garden (one of our favorite places..such a pretty walk!) and he got to ride his trike and see the ducks and geese.

Tucker and I have had a busy week! But thankfully the weekend is already here and...it's gonna be a good one!

Love spending time with my boys!!

First Spaghetti Experience

And now that he actually tried it (and LOVED it)..there will be oh so very many spaghetti nights for us all!!

His face says it all. Tucker HATES to get his hands dirty and demands they be cleaned immediately. I did not think the sketti experiment would go over well..since this was within the first 20 seconds and he disolved into sobs and begs for me to wipe it off.
However, it only took one taste to forget the diry hands and start digging in!
I'm so proud of him!!
Mom-mom!! I do NOT like having this sketti all over me! But its so yummy!
He ate SOOO good..of course he took a bath immediatly afterwards!
Tucker, what in the world are you eating!?
Dunno mom-mom?
This face tells you how much he LOVES his sketti!
He was so excited!
And who can eat sketti without some garlic bread!?
I love this little face :)
He ate all his sketti and bread!!
As you can see..Tucker LOVED his sketti!
I can't wait to have another sketti night with this little guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOVE him!
